At the beginning of 2024, Fireye Inc. of Derry, NH, USA, appointed IP&S Sp z o.o. as the Slow Moving Products (SMP) Distributor for distributors of Fireye products in territories designated as EMEA and APAC. It covers Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Pacific.
By Slow Moving Products we mean low-rotation products, that are, stored in the warehouse for a much longer period than standard parts. These are usually devices and parts that are no longer sold as basic products for new installations because they have been replaced by more modern devices.
The duties of the SMP Distributor include:
- sale of Fireye products to nominated sub distributors of this company in the region covered by the SMP Distributor's operations,
- maintaining a stock of Fireye equipment and parts for this region to meet stocking objectives as agreed to with Fireye.
IP&S’ pricing to distributors is aligned with Fireye's price book, with only necessary administrative, transport and importation costs added
Starting from January 2024 Fireye is issuing instruction to the EMEA and APAC distributors to begin ordering from IP&S.
